Search Tips:
- Do not use keywords "And" and "Or" in
your search. The search engine will automatically
first search the specified keywords based
on "And" condition. If no match found,
it will return a result set having any
of the keywords entered in the search.
For eg., for a search like Paper Napkins,
the search engine will first search for
Paper And Napkins. If no match found,
it will get all the entries matching with
Paper Or Napkins.
- Any single letter words will be ignored.
It will search for whole words only and
segments of words are not allowed. For
eg., a search like "Equpts" will not return
"Equipments".
- Use quotation marks (ex. "Tissue
Paper") to find words which must
appear adjacent to each other. The words
may appear anywhere, and in any order,
within the document.
- Use multiple words (ex. maple tree)
when performing your search. Typing maple
tree will yield more relevant results
than only typing tree. The above would
return documents containing the words
maple or tree.Use plus (+) or minus (-)
(ex. +tissue paper).
- Use a plus sign when your search term
or phrase must appear in the search results.
- Use a minus sign to indicate undesirable
terms. For example, the above finds documents
containing maple but not tree.
- Use appropriate capitalization (ex.
Tissue Paper). Capitalize proper nouns.
Lowercase words will match any case. For
example, typing maple will return all
documents containing the words maple,
Maple, and MAPLE. However, typing Maple
will only search for pages containing
the word Maple.
- Use wildcards (ex. Seal*). The * character
is used as the wildcard character. For
instance, searching for Seal* will find
the words sealants, sealant, sealer, and
any other word that starts with Seal.
